A: By booking using this website you are dealing directly with the accommodation provider, which gives you more control over your booking and       we offer a better price.

Q: What is the earliest I can Check-in?

 A:  Check-in time is 2pm.

Q: Do you accommodate children?

A: No. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to stay on the property unless authorised by management.

Q: Are your rooms non-smoking?

A: Yes, all rooms at The Mollymook Ocean View Motel are non-smoking.

Q: Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?
A: Yes to all of our rooms.

Q: How close are you to the shops?
A: 3 minutes by car to Ulladulla Shopping Prescient with many shops and Restaurants.

Q: How close are you to the Beach?
A: 2-3 Minutes by car to Mollymook Beach and various Surfing Beaches and Reefs.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: Cancellation or changes to bookings for this room will not be permitted for any reason. Should you decide to book please make sure that all the information is fine and you wish to take this room, no refund or changes available.

Q: How do I guarantee by booking?
A: Credit card payment is required to secure room booking or a Debit Mastercard or Visa Debit card.

 


 

Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions will be enforced by the property managers: 

CLEANING

Please take your rubbish with you and place it in the bins near the office. To stop the spread of germs

Please do not leave your rubbish all over the floor

Please leave the room in a respectable state to avoid additional cleaning fees

If you rearrange the furniture please put it back to the way it was when you arrived

If you have an accidental spill on linen, doona’s or carpet please notify us straight away to replace and clean. If the spill is allowed to set it may not be able to be cleaned and a replacement cost will be charged. If the carpet can not be cleaned and dried for the next guests arrival. You will be charged the loss of revenue from that room including the next guest relocation cost.

 


 

 

COOKING

 

Cooking in guest rooms is strictly forbidden by Health Authorities with the exception of the use of the Kettle (water only in kettle), Microwave (is for reheating food only) and Toaster provided

Do not use the kettle for cooking meat, fish, rice, eggs & noodles, replacement cost of kettle will be charged.

Fees for additional cleaning will apply should guests cook inside the motel room an (additional $50.00 minimum cleaning fee applies)

 


 

 

FISHING EQUIPMENT

 

No fishing equipment is permitted in the motel room

No storing of freshly caught fish is permitted in the motel room and refrigerator

Please use an esky and leave in vehicle, spillage of fish blood is very difficult to clean 

(additional $50.00 minimum cleaning fee applies) also the smell can stay for up to 5 - 7 days after repeated attempts to remove the smell. You will be charged the loss of revenue from that room including the next guest relocation cost. This can run into $1000 or more.

 


 

 

BEACH & SPORTS EQUIPMENT 

 

Sand is difficult to clean up without it going down the drain. Please use the beach showers to rinse the sand off. Or a grassed area at the motel

No water sports equipment including surfboards,  body boards & canoes are not allowed in the motel room

No push bikes, scooters & motorbikes in the motel rooms

Additional cleaning costs and repairs and or eviction will apply.

 


 





TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these terms and conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which reservations are accepted by Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970.

Making a reservation automatically accepts all the terms and conditions outlined hereunder. Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970. Reserves the right to change and/or modify any of these terms and conditions at any time without notice and such changes will become effective immediately. Please check these terms and conditions periodically for changes. The effective date of these terms and conditions is 1st July 2019.


 

ADVANCED RESERVATIONS

Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970. Will not guarantee or confirm a reservation made more than twenty-six (26) weeks or 182 days prior to arrival. Requests and quotes beyond this period may be possible; however, no rates and availability will be guaranteed and confirmed. Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 reserves the right to cancel or amend (with reasonable notice) any reservations made beyond this period.


 

AMENITIES AND PERSONAL COMFORTS

The following amenities are included in all rooms (variations may apply and brands are subject to change):

  • bedding linen,doonas pillows and towels

  • bathroom amenities including; shampoo / conditioner, and soap

  • Tissues and toilet paper

  • Face washers foot towel and hand towel

  • Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cups and glasses

  • Microwave, bar fridge and TV

  • Iron ironing board

  • Dish washing cloth, and dish washing liquid 

AVAILABLE AT RECEPTION

  • Plates, bowls, cutlery 

  • Ashtray for smoking outside 10m from all buildings

 


 

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

Check-in/arrival time is from 14:00 (2:00pm). We can not promise to have your room ready early. Early check in we recommend booking the night before. Check-out/departure time is prior to 10:00 (10:00am) – late check-out after this time may incur an extra night’s charge. If the motel is fully committed on the departure date, late departures or extensions are not permitted.

 


 

BONDS / CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORISATION

For all reservations a refundable bond is required upon arrival. And covers any damage that may occur to the room/s during the occupied dates

A full inspection of all rooms will be conducted by motel management after each guest departs to determine if there is any damage. Excessive cleaning charges may also be taken out of the bond if deemed necessary by motel management. The bond refund will be processed 24 Hours within the final guests departs and any outstanding amounts owing are paid in full.

We may pre-authorise a credit card prefered at check-in for any charges we deem appropriate for the length of stay. Please ensure you have sufficient funds to cover additional incidentals for this purpose.

 


 

 

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation or changes to bookings for this room will not be permitted for any reason. Should you decide to book please make sure that all the information is fine and you wish to take this room, no refund or changes available.

 

CAR PARKING

There is one car per room allocated by room number. You agree to enter the car park at your own risk. Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 does not accept any responsibility for damages or loss to your property or property belonging to someone else.

 


 

 

ADULTS ONLY

Children under the age of 18 years may not enter or stay on the property without management consent

 


 

 

CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE

A credit card surcharge  of 1.8% applies to American Express, Visa & Mastercard is 1%. This amount will be applied at the time of payment and is in addition to the nightly rates. Please note that credit card surcharges may change at any time. 


 

 

EMERGENCY SERVICE FEE

The registered guest agrees to pay any Emergency Service Callout Fee charged for false alarms. This includes circumstances relating to smoking and cooking inside of the room where the smoke alarm is triggered and or tampered with. From $250 if the fire department is called

 


 

 

MANAGEMENT AFTER HOURS CALL OUT FEE

The registered guest agrees to pay any management call out fees for disturbance and any matters that could have been undertaken during office hours. Minimum $100.00 then $66.00 per hour there after

 


 

 

EVICTION OF A GUEST

Mollymook Ocean View Motel may evict a guest or visitors without warning. We may choose to notify the police. A guest is subject to such eviction should the following (but not limited to) occur;

  • Intoxication and unsavoury behaviour

  • Overcrowding – when the number of persons in the suite exceeds the capacity (see maximum capacity per suite)

  • Physical or verbal assault including disrespect towards hotel representatives, residents or other guests

  • Wilful damage to Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 property

  • Any incident for which the police need to be called onto the premises

  • Any behaviour posing a safety threat to others

  • Ignoring advice to reduce excessive noise (music or other noise)

  • Throwing of objects over the balconies or from windows

 


 

 

FAILURE TO PAY

In the event that a guest fails to pay immediately upon demand any amount owing to Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970, pursuant to the reservation and accommodation (including but not limited to room damage and cleaning fees), Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 reserves the right to deny access to the guest and ask that they vacate the premises.

 


 

GROUP RESERVATIONS

A minimum of two (2) rooms reserved on one night is considered a group reservation. Any group reservations made via any form of online distribution (such as our website or a third party website) may be cancelled. Group reservations need to be pre-approved by management before making a booking. This policy also applies to a travel agent via their system and 3rd party on-line bookings platforms.

 


 

 

QUIET ENJOYMENT

For the comfort of all our guests, we ask that noise is kept to a minimum so everyone can enjoy a peaceful and comfortable stay. We request that any non-registered visitors leave. Visitors are not permitted in guest rooms, unless authorised and registered by management, only the registered guest for the room they have booked are authorised in the room. A no party policy applies or group congregations in individual guest rooms. It is not permitted or tolerated. Please also extend this courtesy to our neighbours when entering and exiting the building or car park.

 


 



HOUSEKEEPING SUITE SERVICING

Put out tag:- make up our room. Cleaners will not enter your room if there is no tag or tag: Put tag out before 10:00am, if tag goes out after 10:00am there is no guarantee your room will be serviced.

Guests extending their stay are requested to make their rooms available between 10:00am and 4:00pm for servicing.

If you miss housekeeping please go to the office for assistance.

Housekeeping services is as follows

Every day your room can receive an Express Service where we will make the beds with existing linen, replace towels, replace finished amenities, remove dirty dishes and empty the rubbish. 1 Bed Suite: $25.00 2 Bed Suite: $35.00

  • For stays longer than 7-nights, your suite will be fully cleaned, including all linen changed once every seven (7) days.

For some discounted rates, extended stay reservations (21+ nights), international tour groups and wholesalers, students and other groups a weekly housekeeping service applies. This comprises one (1) full clean once every seven (7) days with no housekeeping service on any other days. Additional full servicing outside the normal cycle can be arranged at an extra cost when required. Housekeeping is able to supply additional amenities at any time upon request.

  • 1 Bed Suite: $35.00

  • 2 Bed Suite: $45.00

AIR-CONDITIONING
HEAT Settings
  1. Look at display on remote. Make sure display shows HEAT
  2. Do not put temperature above 25 deg on start up
  3. If not on HEAT press the MODE button until HEAT is selected
  4. Make sure you point remote at air-conditioning unit and press the ON button
  5. You will hear a beep sound. The air-conditioning unit will start up. The heat setting takes about 3 - 5 minutes to startup and run at full strength
  6. Fan speed select for desired strength
  7. The air-conditioner will reach the desired room temperature and will automatically turn itself down sometimes you will think it has turned off. PLEASE DO NOT TURN THE REMOTE UP, DOWN, OFF and back ON in rapid finger pressing, as this is the environmental power saving feature built into the air-conditioning unit. By doing this can cause the unit to get stuck in standby and you might not be able to put it back on. Please call our friendly staff to reset the unit. Office Phone: 02 4455 1283

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

We do our best to ensure your reservation arrangements are satisfactory, however Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 does not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, fire, floods, acts of God, Virus & diseases, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, maintenance requirements or industrial action.

 


 

MAXIMUM CAPACITY PER ROOM

Mollymook Ocean View Motel adheres to the following maximum suite capacities at all times: Queen rooms 2 guests, Twin rooms 3 guests, Please note, rollaway beds are not available at our Motel.

 


 

MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY

A minimum length of stay may apply during high demand or special event periods, as determined by Mollymook Ocean View Motel. If you reserve a room over such dates (as per the reservation terms and conditions) you agree to stay for the required minimum nights. Any changes or cancellations (within the cancellation period) are subject to a penalty and will result in forfeiting of any pre-payments and/or deposits.

 


 

PAYMENT

Payment for the entire stay plus any incidentals is required at the time of booking and at check-in/arrival. For high demand periods, special events and group bookings, different payment policies that require pre-payment may apply. The payment policy will be confirmed at the time of reservation. If the payment policy is not adhered to, the reservation may be cancelled. We accept electronic funds transfer at point of sale (EFTPOS), Visa, MasterCard, American Express,. Any credit cards being used for payment (including incidentals) must be present at check-in/arrival by the cardholder. A non-refundable credit card surcharge applies to American Express cards only. All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars. Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 does not consider differences due to currency exchange rates or fees imposed by your bank to accept AUD.

 


 

PET POLICY

Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 does not permit pets on the premisses. An animal is considered a breach of your accommodation conditions and you will be asked to leave or remove the animal. Guide dogs are permitted and must have a medallion on their collar with the registration number and the owner must also carry a laminated pass (with the owner and dog’s name). Guide Dogs are required to be harnessed in public areas. Please advise ahead of time if you will be travelling with a Guide Dog.

 Any guests breaching this rule will face immediate eviction and a $250 cleaning fee for carpet and any soft furnishings effected. Pets in vehicles may only be permitted by prior specific arrangement.


 

 

PHOTOGRAPHS AND DESCRIPTIONS

Whilst care is taken to ensure that the photos and description of our facilities and services is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion, removed from service. If any feature or facility is essential to you in choosing a particular property, we highly recommend speaking to one of our reservation specialists, whom will assist your decision making process and if that feature or facility will be available during your stay. Descriptions are based on information available at the time of publishing and may vary or change at any time. Maps and location photographs are shown for general information only and highlight places in surrounding areas. Actual rooms occupied may vary in decor and inclusions from those shown in photographs.

 


 

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION

Valid photo identification (ID) matching the name of the main guest within the reservation must be presented at time of check-in/arrival. This is required in order to verify your identity for hotel security purposes. A valid Australian driver’s license, Australian issued proof of age card or an international passport are all acceptable forms of photo identification. As per our privacy policy, any personal information contained on the collected identification will not be on-sold; will be securely stored and carefully disposed of at the end of its usefulness.

 


 

RATES

All rates are quoted in AU$ (Australian dollars) and are per room per night and include 10% goods and services tax (GST). Rates within reservations that have a valid confirmation by Mollymook Ocean View Motel will be honored. Rates that have been quoted are not confirmed until a valid confirmation email has been received from Mollymook Ocean View Motel and therefore subject to change. Mollymook Ocean View Motel reserves the right to amend rates that have been confirmed at incorrect rates due to human or distribution errors.

 


 

RIGHT OF ENTRY

In the event that the Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 has a legitimate cause for concern or if the guest has not been seen nor been able to be contacted over a period of time, the room may be entered by a motel representative to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests is in order.

 


 

RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970  reserves the right to refuse a guest entry to the hotel or accommodation for any reason whatsoever including where the guest has engaged in conduct on a previous occasion adverse to the hotel.

 


 

RUBBISH REMOVAL

A rubbish (trash) bin is provided in each room for the removal of rubbish from the room. All guests are responsible for the removal of their own rubbish on a daily basis. Bags are provided in each suite for this purpose and additional bags are available upon request to housekeeping via the office. This is beneficial for recycling and our environment and hygiene.

 


 

 

SECURITY AND LOSS PREVENTION

The Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 building is a secure environment and we do everything possible to ensure security levels are maintained, and we ask that our guests do also. However, Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 takes no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises.

The external area,s are monitored by video surveillance

 


 

SILENT BOOKINGS

Silent bookings, also referred to as “incognito bookings”, are not accepted. Valid photo identification is required upon arrival and our motel system must be able to reference correctly all guests within our Motel. Guest information is kept secure for post stay auditing purposes and may be provided upon legal demand from the authorities. If you wish to stay under a false name or require your details to be erased from our system after your stay, we regret that this request cannot be actioned.


 

SMOKING POLICY

The Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970  is non-smoking and smoking in the internal room is not permitted. Fines will apply to guests who do not adhere to this policy. There is a smokers table next to the pool. There is no smoking directly outside of rooms a 10 meter policy applies

 


 

ROOM DAMAGE

The guest who registers at check-in/arrival will be held accountable for any damage to the room and contents during the stay dates. The registered guest will be liable for damages caused (including those by third parties visiting the room) which will result in forfeiting any deposits, pre-payment and also may be subject to additional charges depending on damage. We reserve the right to process any charges in addition to accommodation to the presented credit card supplied at check-in/arrival.

 


 

 

ROOM TYPES AND ALLOCATION

Rooms reserved in each reservation are guaranteed, specific room numbers (within the type reserved) and floor allocations are subject to availability upon check-in/arrival and cannot be pre-allocated or guaranteed. Higher and/or upgraded room types need to be reserved at the time of reservation to be guaranteed. If for any reason the room type reserved is no longer available at the time of check-in/arrival, Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 will provide a substituted room of equal or greater value and standard at the same rate confirmed. In extreme cases Mollymook Ocean View Motel will relocate guests to a nearby room or motel of similar standard (including transportation) or alternatively offer a full refund.

 


 

MANAGERS DISCRETION
Management is entitled to exercise discretion and either revoke a booking or resell a room in the following instances:
  • If a guest arrives to checkin in an intoxicated or disruptive state
  • Has not confirmed the booking or forwarded deposit monies by the required date
  • Fails to arrive within the office hours 2pm to 6pm.
Group Bookings will be accepted at the discretion of the managers after an assessment has been made as to any likely disruption to other guests.

 


 

THIRD PARTY SELLING

Mollymook Ocean View Motel Since 1970 does not permit resale to a third party or for trade purposes without prior consent and/or written agreement. Mollymook Ocean View Motel reserves the right to accept or reject any such reservations. This also applies to group reservations and negotiated corporate rates that are resold.

 


 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We highly recommend all our guests to have an appropriate level of travel insurance.
